Hodges' "An Editor Recalls Some Hopeless Papers" is still one of the funniest reads in logic. Even "A Shorter Model Theory" has hilarious moments. Somebody give that man an award.
School starts I think now. They didn't tell us until a week ago. I'm still in Taiwan but leaving in two days to go home (Ontario Canada) for a visit for about a week, and then off to Scotland (St. Andrews). There's a seminar on algebraic logic being offered, and another on parametric conservative extensions of liberally minded orangutans. I look forward to them. I look forward to the future. (It is impossible to look forward to the past.) I look forward to you.
